Omielife the brand was created by Nancy after her little boy started preschool and he missed having warm lunches that he was used to having at home and was unable to open his lunch containers by himself. After numeorus times of uneaten lunches and a somewhat hungry cranky toddler Nancy began to create what is now the Omielife lunch box and the brand has expanded and grown and has become sought after all over the world.

What do you pack in your child’s lunch box?

The Omiebox is perfect for both Children and Adults with a great sized removeable thermos, fantastic for adding a warm addition to your lunch but if you decide that day you do not want a warm addition you can remove the thermos insert and it is the perfect compartment size for a sandwich or salad. Omielife did some testing with soup - In our own testing, boiling soup (93c) will reach roughly 43-48c after 4 hours, which most kids consider warm but not hot (as a point of reference- Starbucks kids hot chocolate is served at 48c).

What happens if part of my Omiebox breaks?

What if my OmieBox is leaking?

If your OmieBox is leaking, first re-install the lid seal or the O-ring gasket. 9 out of 10 times it’s because these two items are installed improperly. Follow the installation instructions and double check that the gasket is smooth and even. Kinks or waves can cause leaking.
After packing food, close the lid and latch it. Be sure to use the palms of your hands to push along the entire surface area of the lid. This helps to engage the seal.
Did you accidentally put it in the dishwasher? If you did, then this could explain why it’s leaking. The dishwasher’s high heat could cause warping, which is why your box is leaking.
